Ordinary host logs may store an IP address, a browser type, a date, and the path requested. They are not used for advertising profiles.

Replies, filing checks, and the thread those replies need are why mail is retained. From the same address you can ask that a copy still on hand be erased. A backup, or a copy a statute tells us to keep, goes when that duty ends.

Sale of personal information does not happen. Hosting, mail delivery, and fonts are done by providers who see the technical data those jobs require. A statute that demands disclosure is followed.
